Our aim at OurPubliks is to inform and educate you and fellow users at Publiks.Org of the means, venues and implications of civic participation — whether before, during or after campaigns and elections, polls or surveys, registrations, referendums or actual ballots.

Fulfilling the dual goals of information and education here requires dedicated research and development in improving the acquisition, dissemination and illustration of information relating to civic engagement. And it furthermore asks that we see the delivery of enhanced content and technologies as serving needs that, by definition, are time- language- place- politics- and rights-sensitive, and so are essential to private as well as public life.
